The short version
This site collects very little. There are no accounts, nothing to sign up for, and no data sold to advertisers. The sections below cover the specifics.
Server logs
Our host records standard web server entries for each request — IP address, time, page, referrer, user-agent — for reliability and abuse prevention. Logs rotate on a schedule and are not shared outside normal hosting operation.
Analytics
We use a lightweight, aggregated analytics tag to understand which pages are read and roughly how. It is not used for advertising, is not sold or shared with third parties, and does not build individual profiles that we access.
Email correspondence
Messages sent to [email protected] are kept so we can answer them and track corrections. Nobody is added to a mailing list, because there is not one. Ask for a thread to be deleted and it will be.
Content delivery network
Pages are served through a CDN, which necessarily processes request metadata including IP address to route and protect traffic. Beyond that we embed no third-party widgets, hosted fonts, or social buttons.
Cookies
This site does not set tracking cookies for advertising or cross-site profiling. A session-level cookie may be set by the CDN for security purposes.
Your rights and contact
You may ask what we hold about you, request a correction, or request deletion. In practice this is usually limited to an email you chose to send us. Write to the address above and we will act on it.
